Today at 08:00AM we will update all Battlefield Bad company 2 game server’s to the latest version (R34).
In order to play the game on the new game server version you need to patch your installation with the patch located ( here ).

Please note that this patch is not backwards compatible, meaning that you won’t have the possibility to join servers which are still running older version of the software.

EA will bring down their backend servers for maintenance at following time:

The time window is, in different timezones:
Tuesday Aug 23rd, 02:00 – 06:00 PDT
Tuesday Aug 23rd, 04:00 – 08:00 EST
Tuesday Aug 23rd, 09:00 – 13:00 GMT
Tuesday Aug 23rd, 11:00 – 15:00 CET

The purpose of the maintenance is to prevent/reduce/eliminate stats outages.
